Support
for Compulsive Gamblers and their families is available in the
form of Gamblers Anonymous (GA) and Gam-Anon groups.
GA is a fellowship of men and women recovering compulsive gamblers
who meet regularly to share their experience, strength and hope
in an effort to recover from the consequences of their compulsive
gambling.
A twelve step format is employed and the only requirement for
membership is the desire to stop gambling.
Gam-Anon provides support and coping strategies for the loved
ones adversely affected by the gamblers activities. Call us for
a schedule of support groups available throughout New York State.
