Gambling
Most problem gambling has its origins in adolescence. Gambling
opportunities are readily available for school-aged youth across
all cultures. Gambling Information & Counseling will provide
prevention services to school aged youth and their parents. These
services for individuals and/or groups are designed to educate
youth regarding compulsive gambling, probability, financial and
social consequences of problem gambling. This educational base,
coupled with social/refusal skill-building techniques provides
youth with a basis for sound decision making and long-term wellness.
