Information for Employees
Employers want the best for employees and their families. For
this reason, many employers will provide an Employee Assistance
Program (EAP) to help solve everyday problems.
If a company has contracted with PERFORMA to provide their employees
with EAP services*, the employees are eligible for the following:

This service is prepaid by the employer. |

provides employees with voluntary help with life’s
concerns. |

PERFORMA
gives employees and their covered family members confidential
assistance with a broad range of problems. |

provides a direct path to assistance. |
PERFORMA
is there to help whether someone is facing a difficult personal
problem, stress at work, or a serious concern such as depression
or chemical dependency. PERFORMA’s staff is experienced.
They want to help.
* Check with your Human Resource department to see if you
have an Employee Assistance Program available at your company.

Balancing
the daily demands of work and home can be challenging. An EAP
can help individuals deal with any of the following concerns,
or with other problems that may be troubling them or their family

If
a company contracts with PERFORMA, employees can simply call PERFORMA
as soon as they feel a problem is getting too difficult to handle
alone. A telephone intake will be done and they may be connected
directly to a PERFORMA counselor, given referral information over
the phone or an appointment will be made for a counseling session.
All crisis calls will be handled immediately by a PERFORMA counselor
or referred to an area crisis center.

PERFORMA’s
resources are extensive. Need help handling stress? Trying to
find a resource for career counseling? Not sure where to go for
information on eldercare? Just call PERFORMA and ask. We will
lead you in the right direction.

Maintaining
the confidentiality of EAP services is a fundamental right to
which everyone is entitled. All records are kept confidential
in accordance with federal and state law.
