Programs
Pinnacle’s Welfare-to-Work
Programs target individuals who are eligible for Temporary Assistance
to Needy Families (TANF) and have barriers to employment.
Pinnacle’s goal
is to provide individuals with the training and support needed
to ensure an avenue to attaining self-sufficiency. All programs
offer job readiness training, job development/matching/placement
& job retention services.
Pinnacle offers
opportunities in three programs:
1.
Wage Subsidy Program: for TANF eligible individuals in
Oneida and Herkimer counties with incomes at or below 200% of
the poverty guidelines and have a barrier to employment. This
program is funded by the New York State Department of Labor.
2. Welfare to Work Opportunity Program (ERA2):
for long-term TANF recipients with barriers to employment referred
through the Oneida County Department of Social Services. A collaborative
partnership with other local agencies and funded by the New York
State Department of Labor.
3. TANF Worker Recruitment Program: for long-term
TANF recipients with barriers to employment referred through Oneida
County Department of Social Services. The goal is to train and
place interested individuals in direct care support positions
in the field of mental health. This program is funded by the New
York State Office of Mental Health.
